The "first" Yellow 4.444 SVX soon to be born
 

I think, the first yellow 4.444 SVX soon to be born with the first SVX 4.444 man - Tom next week. :D

I called Tom just now. I have told him about my arrangements. The whole set of 4.444 (low miles) will be delievered to his place tomorow(friday). And, my yellow SVX will being towed and I will be escorting her to his place on Saturday. Things should be settled by next week and I can't wait to drive my Yellow SVX 4.444 next week. :cool:

When I called him, he told me he had a wonderful day. Two Toms were there making alot of noise and installed Tom's hood. :D I had my good day too. It just happened so fast after I decided to fix up my SVX.

I located my 4.444 tranny yesterday from a junkyard. Today I went there and paid them. I got a special deal talking with the boss. :) 400 bucks plus tax for everything. It's from a 96 Legacy GT 2.5l. I gave Tom the VIN to make sure it will match. 60days warranty and only 66Kmiles. They gave me the 4.444 tranny with front differential even came with the front axles, Torque Converter and the boss said he will give me the driveshaft and the rear differential from the same car. :D Items will be delievered to Cumberland tomorrow.

I hope everything will be working out well and smooth. It's been a while I haven't posted anything but I'm always around to read, just being lazy to type. This is like my 1000th post to celebrate my coming soon 4.444 SVX. If everything as thought, and I go to cumberland to pick up my yellow svx on next saturday. There'll be a fun mini meet with Chike and Jason also...and I will stay till evening to see/help with anything if I can. :D Later,

Glad to know you had fun! Too bad I can't meet you there and drive your 6mt. If I have alot of money, I will need your help to install the 6mt on SVX and a fully upgrade. :D

I think , as the time being, this is one of the best ways to go. Plus, I think I got a really good deal on the tranny, if everything is great. :)

I know the SVX's turn alot of heads, but you have to admit they SNAP around to gawk with the Yellows. It's just so "LOOK AT ME"..... :D

And then they wonder.......what on earth is that? A Saturn? :rolleyes:

Yea... hopefully 3rd time's a charm. I've had bad luck when I went to pick up my first one (transmission pan was crushed and the salvage guy said it was normal) so i didn't pick that one up.

Went to a second place to get it. Tom pulled the pan and found big pieces of metal shavings/bearing in it so I swapped it for a Legacy 2.5gt one this time....

So we shall see :)

Good luck on the swap. Tom, I am still in the market for 4.44s to be put in my XT6. Waiting for tax return $$ for this.

In the meantime, man that is one yellow car. :p I have a desktop pic of one on my job that has 18-19" rims on it. Looked sweet!

Just let me know, I am a busy man nowadays so time for cars is few and far between. Maybe a spring break/summer break project??

Tom called and told me that all my parts were delievered there yesterday at 4.30pm. Today I rode with the tow truck guy (new fren met) to cumberland to unload my yellow x. Today is saturday.

Thanks pple for the msgs. I hope by mid of next week my car will be done and doing smooth. Chike, I will take a look at Jason's mods list too. ... :)

The interesting thing is John (tow tuck guy) likes about the svx too. He test-drove Tom's pearl one and is thinking of getting one. He and his roommate should come to check it out at next saturday's tranny swap. There would be more people there. :D

Next week I may drive back and forth once or twice from cumberland to check out my car.

Just call. They're working on my car today.....can't wait to get her back. I kind of miss her already.......hopefully those bugs I mentioned to them can be taken care of. :)
