Fuel hoses to engine
Can someone verify the fuel hose connections at the engine. where does the feed, return and vacuum go at the metal connections? Thanks!

Borrowing a picture from another thread because of how wonderfully hi-res it is. Have a look at the lines, it's pretty easy to see where they go.

So from front to back-
the feed is the first, the return is the second and the vacuum is the third. Correct? |
Re: Fuel hoses to engine
I think so but I don't trust my memory 100%, it's been a while since I looked at it.

Re: Fuel hoses to engine
Ok Thanks! I finished installing my intake manifold and connected the fuel hoses in that order. The car would not start.
I called my mechanic because he replaced a leaking hose near the gas tank a few months ago. He said he believes he switched the two lines in the rear accidentally and then switched the front ones to match. So I switched the hoses (feed and return) at the engine, the way he had it and the car ran! The problem is, the filter is on the wrong side now! Rather than switching the hoses at the engine, I switched them at the fire wall. All Ok!:p |
