Starter Problems Not Starter At All
 

Well ever since I got my SVX I've had a hard time with the car starting...the starter would just click a few times before starting. After my 5 speed swap I changed the starter 4 times...thinking that I was getting faulty remaned starters. Well, 2 days ago the car wouldn't start at all...just clicking..so new starter again... put in the new starter..same problem....surprise;) We bench tested both starters alot...and everytime they both worked. When I took the positive battery terminal off...it snaped into 2 pieces in my hand. So, I put on the new battery terminal...no more starter problem at all! Two days in a row not one click. :) Sorry to babble... I'm just excited that my car actually starts everytime!! God bless!

It is always a relief to get a problem like that fixed. You sit down in the drivers seat and think, I wonder if it is going to do it again! Once it is fixed, you can relax and have fun driving the car again. :)

Did you spend much on all those starters? That would frustrate me... to spend time and money fixing something that isn't even broken. Glad to hear you figured it out... and it turned out to be a minor problem.:)
