Help! Dashboard lights + no power steering..

My dashboard lights came on today and are staying on, so i'm assuming it is the alternator, but could it cause the power steering to not work either? Help!

Maybe the power steering belt broke?

Alternator belt slipped off!

I posted this in a hurry before I even looked under the hood. Turns out that the alternator belt slipped off (and was just installed by dealer about 3000mi ago. Anyone have directions on how to put it back on?
