hmm?

It seems John's been backing away from all his SVX projects due to other comitments. I FULLY understand.

I certainly will miss his calendars, hats, models, and all the WONDERFUL effort he put into the group as a whole.

Let's hope the sight is down only temp.

You didn't get one?

Too bad. Did you order a built one? I'm sure he has the kits and if you can get his attention you could at least get that.

I'm building a craft room in the basement for my wife and kids. I get a single table for MYSELF so's I can work on my SVX model along with a half a dozen others. :)

No, I didn't get one yet. Part of it was me not getting around to ordering one. The rest is due to John not replying to me for months on end. As long as he wasn't replying to my emails, I was not about to send him money.

So you didn't loose any money.

Seems to me that he WOULD be willing to take some money to get those kits off his hands.

Well, it's not that I don't *trust* John. I just figured if he was that busy, I wasn't going to lose out because of it.

Yeah, it'd be nice if we could get a hold of him, but the only way, according to him, is through this site. No email, nothing.

I hope we do find him - I'm also still owed a free calendar. :)

If anybody hears from him ... let him know that if the reason he pulled the site is related to hosting costs or something, I'll be happy to mirror the data on one of my servers. It's a valuable resource to the community, so I'd hate to see it disappear.
