World Network?
Just curious as to the progress of the 'Network'...

The Club is also accepting members. If you would like, I'll be happy to email you a brochure, with application form in .pdf format. Please email me @ svxter@comcast.net, and I'll send one to you. Also, to anyone who picked up a brochure at Lafayette, and have been intending to send it in, please do so. We're also beginning to have some Club logo merchandise available. Stevebsy has a thread going on this, a quick search will probably bring it up. Or, pm him for details. Club members will get a discount. Mainly, we need members. If the Club incorporates, that will involve a substantial cash outlay. Then, there's the Annual Meet 2003, and the costs associated with that, etc., etc. |

Howdy, Bill. Perhaps a copy of the application form could be exhibited as a thread, or as a directive for guests to read. The entire mission statement with member benefits & on-line sign up, should be a part of this group. Since I'm 'puter illiterate, I can't offer anything else. Psychedelia rules! Ron. |

That's the goal Ron. We're just a little slow (me mostly) at getting it done :) Doug |
Ron.
The site is still underconstruction at this time. I had been busy. So is Doug. I am not sure if the application form is working but I know you can download the pdf and print it. Here is where the site is: http://www.svxworldnetwork.org/ -- Lwin |

I just uploaded the partially updated site again. The membership.html has been renamed and you should be able to fine it under the other directory. Still need to add the constitution, mission statement and such. I will take care of it tomorrow. -- Lwin |

Good thought, Ron. Here it is.

It is difficult to understand all this having been involved in setting up amateur orginisations in N.Z. which was a fairly prompt and no problem exercise.
Also strange that you are selling merchandise and receiving members but are not yet officially registered. However you have James to assist on legal matters. Keep at it as you must get there in the end. |
Thanks for the vote of confidence Trevor but my expertise (if you can call my limited experience that) is confined to the Australian jurisdiction and the area of litigation and defamation law.
When people start abusing X Y and Z, then I can help!! :D |
URGENT STATEMENT
Don't abuse James. If the moderator does not scrub you James will have your guts for garters !:D

We sort of had to have something available for the big meet. Will have to work out all the tax implications as we go, I suppose. Yes, we'll get there eventually. |
Bill,
Have you sent anything on the club and the 10th Anniv. SVX Meet to Drive magazine yet ? Larry |
I would guess that selling merchandise at a profit could be the tricky one. This would caurse problems here as well. There is always a big snout keeping an eye out for even little troughs !
Rude words James can take care of but make sure you keep yourselves as persons protected and not exposed to litigation in respect of the orginisation. May your troubles be few, Cheers, Trevor |
