Close call
Almost rearended someone on my way to work today. The driver ahead of me was making a left turn. The light turned yellow and instead of turning hammered on the breaks. There was more than enough time for both of us to clear the intersection before the light turned red.
I stopped mere inches from her bumper. She was practically in the intersection. |
I think people don't realize if you have to hammer on your breaks when nothing is in front of you, you shouldn't be doing what you're doing.
Maybe she was scared of "breaking the law". |
Idiots are EVERYWHERE!!!
While driving to the DMV today, a "gentleman" left his car parked in both the highway, and the Applebee's parking lot to walk back to converse with another driver. WTF! |

Glad to see that you came out unscathed.

Glad that's nothing happened. You "should not" expect that she is going to drive faster/turn and get even closer to her.... :D
Again, in my book, some drivers still don't know how to drive or think they're the kings on the roads. They can suddenly stop their cars in the middle of the roads just to pick up the friends. |
it still remains that people dont the same way. so we still have to pay attention to these people ...
dammit/////it just sucks |

thanks ensteele...i just read my own post... my brain isn't working much anymore..///////// |
That's ok, just wondered what you were saying. :o
|
i think i was trying to say that we all dont drive the same on the road. so we still have to caution for everybody else around us when we do drive and that we do come across situations in where somebody else behind the wheel is more likely to kill us than anything or anybody else.
