It's been my experience in working on magazines devoted to the aftermarket that most of the designers of fiberglass add-ons for cars have no idea of what consists of good style/taste. I was always having to write promo pieces for some advertiser that had developed a new way to uglify a car that had come off the assembly line looking pretty good.

i think it's more about making money in the market....you put something out that people would buy...you dont think about how good or bad it looks...it's a cash grabber
