Need info on transmission-VIN#

My wrecked 1996 Legacy GT 2.5 was recently towed to a local yard and they are going to cut me a deal on the transmission and rearend being that I was the previous owner. What I need to know which gear the car has 4.11 or 4.44? My VIN# is 4S3BD6755T7207142 Any help is appreciated as this will get my SVX back on the road despite losing a good car in the process:(

The transmission number would tell you.

but I think if its a 5 speed the trany # would be TY752VABBA and it would have 4.111's
The Auto trany I don't know.

dude, that sucks. if you had bought your car back from the insurance, they would have paid you for the remainder of your vehicle AFTER you got the tranny out of it. :(

read: free tranny
