Re: Engine Block

Mike,
Does the block have all new seals? Is it machined for the CP pistons or the stock pistons? What has been done to the heads? What machining was done on the crank? Do you have new main bearing that go with the crank/block?
Thanks.

The block and crank were machined using factory specs. The crank was just cleaned and inspected. I don't have the bearings. The heads have not had anything done to them. However I do have a factory gasket set floating around somewhere.

Re: Engine Block

Is this basically a remanufactured block and correctly oversized pistons?

Edit: just read a previous post,...Do you have the full gasket set? It ended up the one I bought has a rod knock on either the middle or back cylinder(when looking from the front) on the driver side although not too bad yet. My mechanic thinks it probably spun a bearing so I am somewhat in need of a motor.

Re: Engine Block

The engine is completely disassembled. I believe I have a complete gasket kit, but it doesnt come with bearings. I disassembled it myself and took it to a local machine shop. They machined it to factory specs. same with the crank. The pistons are the ones from the engine and are untouched.
