:D:D:D I'm so happy I could bust!!

The Purple-Nurple (my first SVX) is almost ready! I actually got to drive it today! The rear wheel bearings are in, the exhaust is all welded up, all the lights are fixed, everything but the windshield is ready to go!
I got a good windshield with the car, and that will be put in Monday or Tuesday. I have to say, the 4.44 gears are well worth the effort, This thing is super-zippy now!
I think I have the perfect use for an SVX too! I have a 62 mile commute to work, for about 120+ miles a day, mostly on the interstate.
Average speeds run from 75-85, and occasional squirts to 95 or so :eek: , especially in the shipyard rush every morning! I need something fast and comfortable too.
I should have had this car finished long ago, but my uncle keeps sending me away to play on the big white boats. :(
