Some noob questions
I've searched around but never really found a straight answer.. what do the "Manual" and "Shift Lock" buttons do? Why don't I have a power lock button? I have a 92 LSL

It's been explained several times:
Shift Lock: Allows you to move the shifter from "P" with the ignition turned off or without pressing the brake. (mainly used to check TCU codes) Manual Mode: Only effective with shifter in "2" or "3". Allows the car to start from a stop and remain in 2nd gear in slippery conditions. In "3" it will still start in 2nd gear and will change to 3rd gear relatively early. |
Don't get me wrong, but did you use the search function? :)
