Nice post Pierre, I am well aware of that race, it also featured in Top Gear in a certain season. I love the R Turbo5, the Alpine, the BMW 2002tii and the Porsche 914.

Actually my friends own similar porsche back home, they are restoring them both to their original condition with the exception of the engines. For these they are transplanting EJ25 into them :cool:

You beat me to it. I'd love to come across one to see if I'd actually be interested beyond looking at them. Of course, I'd never sat in an SVX until I'd made the trip to buy mine, so who knows if it would matter? :D

One of the major drawbacks of the Stratos is that TWO cannot fit inside even though there are two seats :lol:

I just saw the Top Gear test of the Stratos replica. "Stop touching my leg":lol: I love all things Group B, but at 6'2" I think I'll always be admiring them from the outside.

Great set of pics from Geneva. Did you happen to check out the dash lighting on the Koenigsegg Agera that I PMed you about. I'm still curious about their claim of "Nanotubes" used to illuminate the buttons. Seems like marketing speak for "fiber optics" but I'd be mighty impressed if it's true.

Also, the Renault Alpine is one of the few cars I'd consider trading my SVX for. I guess I'm destined to be constantly searching for parts.

Quite frankly no. It was not me who went there, rather Mrs.SS.
Those are her pictures.. Well I asked her to check it, but she went on the very last day and the show was jamming with people.
