Honor them
Seen some troops out on the road today but didnt get a chance to thank them. If you see them stop, salute, thank them, shake their hands and remember what they do everyday ensures your freedom.

Re: Honor them
That was great. Thank you for posting that. Most people don't have any idea of how important the jesture is. That heals more than you know. :)

Re: Honor them
i think a better foreign policy would serve far better than goodwill gestures towards the armed forces. altho im sure that point is moot

Re: Honor them
What they need is what both of these videos ask for. Respect, love, and recognition. That is all they ask for. The serve their country because they love it and the people who are in it. They don't deserve to be spit on when they return home after serving their country. :o

Re: Honor them
i was taking care of an 85ish year old man. in course of conversation i found out that he had served in the navy.
i thanked him he said, "no, thank you" i asked him why he was thanking me and he said because i was the first person to ever thank him for serving. that in itself made my eyes water :( it took almost 60 years for someone to say thank you to him |
