gotta hate having a job    Eh, it is a little too humid to be racing tonight anyway.... I wish they were open last night, I wanted to go ssssoooooooooooooooo bad. Well anyway I just got word of how the guys did on the 1st run...

Eric(actually Mike) ran a 16.1

Eric(actually Eric) ran a 15.4 with my old FWD(Yeah, its in better shape since I last raced it

John ran a 16.4 with the 4.11 5mt which should get better when he gets his launch down and can row through gears a little better. I would imagine he can pull a 15 flat out of it with a good run

I am still waiting to hear about how they do on their second runs

Tom

-Bill
p.s. Tom - got your message...remember to make sure your hands aren't greasy when Chike gets there  :p

TomsSVX 11-04-2005 08:40 PM

um...still trying to figure that comment out Bill????

Yeah I am not surprised that the FWD ran so well... I am on the phone with Eric now and no one but Eric(Mike) ran twice. Eric(Mike) ran a 15.9 for his final run

Tom ;)

My Official Timecard Info

Temperature- 57f
Relative Humidity-89%
Absolute baro- 29.15

Reaction time - .742
60 - 2.273
330 - 6.491
1/8th - 9.71
MPH - 70.83
990 - 12.915
1/4 - 15.680
MPH - 83.45

Okay, so my reaction time is worse than most drunk drivers. And sadly, i started slowing down a little bit before the finishline. Didnt launch it either. But figure thats my first time ever on a drag strip, and the mistakes are forgivable. Next time I go there I hope to run low 15's or mabey even high 14's. Good thing is, even with my total drag-strip virginity, I managed to beat my oponent, and nabed the best time of the night. :D
Mike was the only one to do two runs, setting and achieving his goal of beating his first time. Im sure he will post his time cards.
John didnt do a second run because of a frayed belt.
I didnt do a second run becasue I didnt feel like waiting in line again.
All in all, had a blast, got some decent times, and a few funny looks from civic drivers. What a night!

Nice job for the first time out....applying a little "ChikeMath", you're probably in the 13s! (okay, so I'm kidding....you're probably in the 15.3-.4 range)
