After successfully completing my head gasket renewal, i've put all the pics of it in my personal locker if anyone wants to see what they're engine looks like on the Inside! lol

Thanks for the good pics Phil.

Looking at the pic of the block and the top of the pistons, is the center of the top section of the piston, higher than the edge section around the top ring? A bit hard to see, but it looks like there is a raised section with the valve cutouts in it.

If it is higher than the edge, how high is it ?
Where did the gasket blow, top or bottom of the block.

Hrvey, it's slightly higer than the rest of the piston, the centre is only about 1-2mm higher, not alot!

Not sure 'exactly' were the gaskets had gone, they looked pretty worn out all round the water jacket, but 1 head was definately warped (had BOTH skimmed the same!)

Runs lovely now! Just gotta get the tracking done, Does anyone have the steering geometry specs in their locker?
