Going to India for 2 weeks

Heading to India tomorrow for 2 weeks. I'm brining my laptop with me...hopefully i dont use up all the power :p (inside joke). I'm really not looking forward to my 24 hours in the plane. A few shots of patron will set me right though :D .

Hope you have a great time Tom! Take some pics if you can - from what I've see of India (in travel books, websites, etc) it's a beautiful place.

bring me back a Chevy Forester. :D

Chevy Forester. Almost forgot that one. Have a good trip and be careful. Indian drivers are worse then the ones in NYC.

No more chevy foresters in India... Since GM is not having any percentage in Subaru. And also the sales are so so pathetic, even if GM is having percentage in Subaru, they would have stopped it in India.

I will be driving when im there. And Pavan is right...if you don't drive like a moron...you won't be able to move forward. Thats just the law of the land :D . I learned to drive stick in India in 2001 when we were on vacation....thats probably the only way im able to handle manhattan traffic so well.

Came back last night. It was a really nice trip for the most part. Ran into some trouble when I got to india...problem with my connecting flight to go down south...gotta love air india  . Our internet connection in the house kept messing up so that kinda sucked. I got to drive too....and yeah that wasn't very fun at all . I dont think there were many times I even got to shift up from 3rd gear. The airport is 4 hours away from my house so that trip is not fun at all..especially at 4 in the morning when it is completley dark and people are still walking in the middle of the road. I'm probably going back in the summer time with my brother. The weather was beautiful....of course when i step back into NY its 22 degrees. All in all I had a great time....kinda sucked that I had to come back so soon. I was just getting used to the time difference :D .

Welcome back.... seems you had a very good time over there. Did u come accross any hype on Sreeshanth in ur state? I bet there should be a lot going about him :) . Going in 3rd gear..., you should be gr8 that you got to drive atleast in 3rd gear :p. Having 5 gears in Indian cars is not useful unless you drive on NHs (or those type of roads).

Gud luck with ur next trip.

Yeh... I am ready. But this time also, Australian's will take away the world cup and there is no chance for India, I wonder even if they can enter semi-finals, they are very inconsistent nowadays. The batting department (which plays very imp role in ODIs)is not as good as last worldcup and the bowling department is a little better while the fielding department is definitely improved.

Lets wait and see. Enjoy your trip to WC matches.
