black rims, red calipers?!
 

what do you guys think?
this is pretty much how it currently looks

Yes a black spoiler would look better ... Or the original all red , but the black spoiler would be easier and less expensive

The stock rims cover the calipers pretty well, so all that work painting the calipers would be for very little dramatic effect. Also, imo the stock calipers aren't anything to accent or bring attention too. They aren't like the nice smooth etc brembos or stop tech type calipers. Also, i agree with the others, simply paint the spoiler. The black/red combo is one of the best

looks better up close...trust me and I really hated the all red ....how can you guys like that ****?! :eek::)
the spoiler had a few dings in it so i decided to go and buy one of an old white or silver one but I've been lazy about it...it'll change


I was thinking that because the calipers don't show much, it'd be a good idea to add some paint to them...the roughness won't show behind the rim

Are you wanting to paint the stock wheels black, or buy a new set of wheels?

black stock rims are my first option...if not, i may get a set of aftermarket ones...
maybe even some gold wrx ones painted black!:D

What about saving some money & placing the rims the correct way around - you may like the "new" look better without spending any money?

Black wheels with a polished silver lip would look great on your car. I would also paint the spoiler black, or just buy another one that is already black and put it on.

actually this is the first time i noticed it!!!
i just looked them up in google and they are put both ways(but mostly opposite of mine)
it's done by the prev owner and i think the reason is the tires direction...will double check tomorrow

#1, that wing needs to be black.

#2, You won't even notice the painted calipers with the stock wheels, you need to have a more open wheel if you gonna bother with that.
