check the mounts.

Also make sure your exhaust hangers are good.

Can you record a video with the sound? Were is it clunking from?
If not this thread may get really long with things that go clunk.

Do you like feel it in the floor like a solid thud, or is just a clunk?
Tranny mount is like a solid clunk, you will feel it in the floor.

Here is a video of my tranny going Thud @ 27 secs:

More different clunking....exhaust hangers, strut mounts, shot bushing.

So... Yeah... Um... Is any of that helpful?

Maybe a bad U-joint on the drive shaft.

I cant here the noise you describe, try checking your trans mount. They make noises when there toast.
Also where in PA are you located?

Might want to get under there and check the center mount for the main driveshaft - as the mount wears out the driveshaft will bang around in there on acceleration.

There's a TSB on a "too fast and strong" bite of the MPT on Legacies at least. Causes a single thud from stand still only - rocks the rear diff / subframe. Can't remember the cure... reprogramming, maybe? Do you have any binding issues? TPS adjusment correct? $15 mod?
