RHD SVX Manuals
 

A number of the UK owners and fans have expressed a desire to get these manuals as have some other Australian and NZ based owners.

So as I can get an idea of the years that would be needed and the total number, can interested parties please respond to this thread (in the 'Down Under' forum.

I am not sure how you want me to respond. Unless it is not possble to order through Subaru N.Z. who have a regular airfreight container in transit from Japan it would seem pointless to trans ship via Astralia. When I get the reference numbers I wiill approach Sub. NZ.

I am shipping Paul's to NZ - he said that Subaru Japan told him that the manuals were unavailable!!!

I will forward the part #'s to you - if perhaps you can act as the NZ rep on the order for the others in NZ if you can actually get them from there - if not, let me know since it will actually work out easier for all people (UK, AUst and NZ) to do 1 bulk order (3 month turnaround from order to delivery).

The weekend in UK was too short to get discussing this issue. However, maybe the web is the right place to assess the need. I think Tony Shale might be interested, but he will tell you hisself.

It would probably be simpler if we set up an email group, possibly using the PM function to get the addresses. People tend to respond to emails more directly.

I noticed a problem with this Forum. If you are not "subscribed" to a particular thread, a question may be asked, and as you are not notified/reminded by email, it gets lost on past pages, you don't see it, so don't respond.

This would imply that anything urgent or requiring response would be best addressed by doing a PM. Then they all get email reminder, better chance of reply.

Any thoughts??

Have you been able to ascertain the part numbers for the manuals ? No panic but I would like to enquire with Subaru NZ as I would like to have a set.

I agree...we need to get some sort of order into this - I have 2 more Aussie's lined up who want a set so depending on where the order originates (UK, Australia, NZ), we can work from there.

I made an enquiry with my local Subaru dealer on Saturday. He is going to get back to me mid-week with availability/price.
