How many shades of Beige? (Leather interior)

anybody have any idea if the interior colors came in diferent shades of beige, ive read sheets that seem to point that all the brown interiors where the same brown, but while looking on autotrader, some of the beiges looks a little bit different, is this probably just lighting, or was their a cream beige as well as a fawn beige

sorry for the rather strange question, but looking at the pictures it can get confusing!

heres what sparked my question

I think they are all the same or should be the same. Wow beige does look the best in the SVX, anyway it could be the cameras different angles, and the outside light, there could be where some are freshly detailed and some are just worn and dirty. So there could be alot of different reasons why they "look" different.

There is only one color of beige for the leather interior from 1993-1997. The darker beige is used for the dashboard, side door panels, console, steering wheel, shift lever/e-brake, etc.

If you look on subaruparts.com at seats, no matter what year, the part number is the same (ending in EO). Colors for all SVX trim are listed as either "gray" or "beige".

I have seen digital photos of interiors that were taken with flash. The photos were overexposed and gave the impression of a very light, creamy beige.

MYES! Just one beige. Well..for all intensive purposes anyway. Theres actually seven shades of beige...One for the dash, door panels, console, ect. Another for the plastic peices of the same color (Lets face it, no colormatch is perfect) two for the leather parts, apperently. One for the wheel/ shifter and another for the seats (See thread for seat restore products)Also can't forget about the suede peices,a shade of beige that is colormatched to the suede..and the headliner...once again an imperfect colormatch to the suede. And if the car has been smoked in...forget it, theres like a bajillion shades of beige

but uhh...Yeah, I overthought that one. Theres just one color for the beige leather interior set. The beige suede interior set, the seats match the suede peices. exactly the same otherwise. hope that answers the question:o

it sure as hell does hehe

happy to hear that, i wouldnt have cared but i test drove a SVX with a tan interior and i distictly remember thinking how nice it was sitting inside the car, i just loved it

then today i test drove a 1992, great price, but it needs a tranny(soon) and it had the grey interior, i dont mean to offend anybody, but the original grey interoir just isnt nearly as pleasing, it seems a bit cheaper all together, and especially the swede peices that come around that are that off whetish color, bleh! i love the design of the interior on the SVX but teh grey interiors are just unforgivably bland(Atleast for me)

You meant to say "DO" and not "E0" right? For reference, gray's color code is "MD"

Every beige part I checked, from 93-97, now ends in "EO". I checked headrests, cushions, reclining knobs, even the underseat tray. All "EO".

Hmmm, looks like it's both EO and DO.
