Question about wheels...
 

I'm looking at purchasing some 17 inch wheels and I was wondering if the specifications will work with the SVX. The wheels are 17X7, 5 lug, 114MM bolt pattern, and have a 60MM offset. I've also included a picture of the wheels in order to gather some of your opinions on the design. Thoughts?

I got 18 X 7 with 42 mm off set. They work fine.
OEM is 16 X 7.5 53 mm off set.

With those rims with 225/45/17 tires they will sit 7mm closer to the strut I don't know if there is room for 7mm closer.

You mite be able to use 215/45/17 tires then the wheel would only be 2 mm closer to the strut.

Well I just remembered that a 225/50/16 is wider then a 225/40/18 so my numbers are off a little. I would think that the rims you picked out should fit.

The bolt pattern is 114.3...so unless you made a typo, those wont work.

i thought the bolt pattern was 114.3 for our cars...does 114 work too?

technically they are 5x4.5" pattern
more technically or metric conversion is 5x114.3

Some GMs have 5x115 if you can believe that...
Some people say they too are interchangeable, some
say they arent. Ive used 5x4.5" pattern rims on
5x115 car apps (an Allante and Reatta I once owned)
and they worked fine there too.

Are they the same rims used on the new rx I really like them, will they fit and what size are they? I drive by the dealer every morning and don't want to ask about the rims with no interest in the car itself.

are they directional? i hate it when they make a wheel that should be directional and they just make it so one side is runnin backwards
