I have take some Photos of my suburu. ;) I am done to sand down the car.
And also must take some rust job on the rear fender. So now its done.

I am really happy that the car is in so good contition. Its little rust on it.
Compare whit the old legacy i have that is 90mod. And this have a LOT of it.:lol: My plan is to make it Yellow whit black top. So here are some photos.

Alex, are your stock wheels white or is the flash just too bright? If they aren't white, I just got a great idea.

Way back in 2006 for the 2007 calendar Huck described it as a three part pearl paint and it was expensive to put on if memory serves.

[But in fairness, it looks it ;) :D]

He said it was a Honda colour from the Acura NSX range and that the name was Indy Yellow.

I don't remember him ever giving a code for it though, although it would be easy enough to find codes at the Honda dealerships.

I think Imola Yellow is way better. German paint is going to be higher quality as well. Also, I don't think yellow looks good two-tone. It should be all yellow.

I think I agree with oregondave about the two tone. I think it would look best all yellow or at least only have the top of the roof black. I went through my SVX photo collection and was surprised to find so many yellow ones. Here are some pics of two tones, black roof and all yellow:

The Pearl Yellow color on mine is off a Honda/Acura NSX called "Indy Yellow" here....


(And of course I like the black over Yellow better than the solid Yellow :) )

The paint code for the NSX "Indy Yellow Pearl" (used from 1997-2003) is Y52P.

Also known as "Daytona Yellow Pearl" in the UK and "Indy Gelb Pearl" in Germany.



Replaced by "Rio Yellow Pearl" (from 2004 on) This code is Y65P

This is the same color as "Solar Yellow" used on the Honda S2000.



As expected, this is a tri-coat formulation; basecoat, pearl, and clearcoat.

They are white.. I sand they down last summer and repaint them white.
I think thats looks good an a black car. But its not easy to keep them clean.
