what is this

ok, so i remember there being a thread posted about one of the plastic seat rail covers, but i cant find it.

so my question is: i have that same plastic piece and i dont know how to fit it onto the end of the rail.

i also have this piece lying around and i have no idea what this is for:

I might be wrong, but it looks to me like the plug casing for the mas air flow sensor. Let me go look at mine.
