There is no helpful forum like ours

This is the truth! we own a 1990 Mercedes 300CE 24 valves. I went to around 7 different Mercedes forums asking a simple question about this car, well out of those only 2 or 3 members replied, one of them replied me wrong, another told me to click the search button :D . Well I did a search and they had nothing useful as info.

On the other hand, every newbie who registers here and asks for help, he gets like 1000 replies :) . This reminds us what a nice helpful forum we have, I really appreciate it. ;)

Thanks for that. :) :) That is because we are more of a family than a forum. :) :)

What MBZ forums did you visit?

fjm57 03-05-2006 10:33 AM

True,

If it weren't for the support and content on this site, I would have probably sold mine by now.
The dealerships in my area are of little use, except to gouge me on parts.

This is completely off subject but, That is a really nice RX-7 you have Jim. A good friend of mine has an '88 GTU thats completely stock, after riding in my SVX hes been thinking about getting one. His brother also has a 1st gen. with a built and turbo'd motor last I heard (before he blew the engine) it was running 12's.

Glad you like it! Some people'll get their feelings hurt though through 'too much' information or info that don't want to hear. :o I like it here as well. That is why I hung around here for years and years even though I did not own an SVX. Sad! :(

I've played that role for 23 yrs now... lol... SS does have a point, this is my homepage and I check it every morning before work and as soon as I get home.
As for helpful, VWVortex is also very helpful (at least the Scirocco guys). I'm glad we have this forum and a tight knit group. Wish I could come to Reading to meet more of you.
