Mariners Game
I am trying to gauge an interest in attending a Mariner's game this summer. If we could get enough people together we could get group rates and have our name displayed and/or announced (can't remember which one it is) in the stadium.
Might be a great time to show off our cars to the general public. :) Troy and I thought July would be a good time for something like this, in between Reno and West Coast Suburu Show. How many are interested, and do you think family/friends might want to attend? If we can get 40 people, then we qualify for the group rates. http://seattle.mariners.mlb.com/NASA...ckets_info.jsp |
Sounds like fun! We usually try to go a couple times a year, so might as well do it with a bunch of friends and make a party of it. (get cheaper tix too!) :)

If we really want to relax in style, we should go for a suite :p
ok....so it might be $100+ a head, but if you've ever been in one....its tough to be in a regular seat again. A few years ago, a friend had a pair of comps from Verizon for their suite. It was great, plus we had our own entrance, catered food, etc. We were living the lap of luxury for those 4 hours. We stayed until the very very end. I can dream :D :D :p |
Yeah that would be cool!
We did that a few years ago with Corrina's company, they didn't have a regular suite, they just rented one out for 1 game. But yeah, unlimited food and drinks (alcohol included) was very cool. Now that I think about it, that must have been really expensive for that small company. No wonder they haven't done it since. |
Very expensive.
$4000 plus a credit of $950 toward catering. Plus payment is required 2 months before the game. We were 3 or 4 suites from the media booth. It was soo cool. Last year we did the Ayala club suite seats, still the private entrance and it had different food than the rest of the stadium. |
Depending on the location, the tickets are $17 to $43 each. (Not the $100+ Troy and I were talking about). Is this too expensive?
We are not looking for a commitment of a date or any number of tickets, just is this a good idea? If its a bad idea, let us know too. |
Sounds fun, I'd prefer more towards the cheap side. :)
|
That sounds like a terrific idea.
Are Yankee fans invited too ?:D :D |
Yeah Larry, if you want to come out here we can arrange it to be when the M's play the Yanks. :)
|
I noticed on the link there was something about $10 seats if you had the group rate?
|
You're right. I didn't see that (don't know HOW I could have missed that :p)
|
Probably not the best seats, but I've been all over that stadium and there really aren't any that are not good. Plus it is just all about the fun of being there in person to watch the game, hang with your friends, etc.
$10 seats would probably be most attractive to most of our crowd, and make it easier for them to bring lots of friends too. :) Only place I wouldn't want to be is the seats under and directly near the giant screen where you couldn't see it. Especially if our group's name was going to be shown on it. |

aahaaaaaaaaaaaa I see the game they are playing. :D
So the less desireable the day, the cheaper the seats. Are there any Saturday options for a group rate? Just curious, I'm guessing they are going to be more expensive. |
I will check that out tomorrow.
