SVX-less for four weeks now......
 

My baby has been with 'The Subaru Guru' for four weeks now. It had blown its second set of Head Gaskets. The first set lasted 130,000, the second another 50,000. The mechanic said he didn't feel good about doing another set. He felt after doing the heads the compression might be a little too high. He managed to find a '94 engine with unknown mileage. The engine is in and running and with my fingers crossed I am having most everything that bolts to it upgraded to NEW or REBUILT.

I really wish I didn't like this car so much. It's only got 186,000 mile on it.

I'm right there with you, Clyde. Hope everything's sorted out soon. If you recall, I had a recent experience where I was without my SVX for 24 days. 24 Days without an SVX makes one weak. :D
