EXTERNAL Tranny Filter
 

I have a 94 Lsi

I looked but could not find a external ATF Filter...do 94's have them?

Mine did not, so I added one from perma cool as well as the B&M cooler.

I think only 92's and 93's had them because those years had a screen in the trany cooler that could plug. So the filter kit is a fix to prevent the cooler screen from plugging.

My 95 has one. Under the battery inner fender wall.

I just ordered an external Filter kit for the trany, B&M kit # 80277 from Schucks, $39.95.
You can get the external perminent filter from subaru, check the How-To for a part number, I think its there, but not sure.
