New Jerseyites may know that there are 2 types of private AWD emssions sniffers out there. The new type measures HC and CO at idle and 2500 rpm. The old type measures only at 2500 rpm. I previously had been going to a guy with the old type. Failed on his. Got YT to retune the Hydra for higher FAR at low rpm's and low throttle. But my local guy's machine broke. Went to a new guy with the new type of machine. Passed with flying colors at 2500 rpm, failed at idle. Does anyone know of any garages or service stations in NJ still using the old machine?
