Open Door Warning Light

i'm new to this site but i'm finding many useful information...like how to reprogram the remote entry, a year ago subaru dealership charged me $35 to try to program a new remote but they can't get it to work and told me it need more test to find out the probelm.

a week ago i found a link from here and got the direction on how to program a new remote...after following the insturction i got my remote to work ':D'.

but there one little weird thing after i program the remote. after i get to inside of my car and closed my door the "open door warning light" is on for few seconds and then it will go off and the auto seatbelt wii go back. this only happen if i used the remote to lock&unlock the door.

''

if i used the key to lock and unlock then its fine after i closed the door. the seatbelt moved right away and no "open door warning light"

however i think that when i was reprograming the remote may be i left the door open can this be the casue??? but now i can't get it to reproram mode following the same direction...

i enjoy using the remote but it bugs me that i have to wait few seconds for the seatbelt to move.

what shoud i do??? help please!

That's kinda weird...

I remember in mine the light would stay on for a few seconds after shutting the door, but I'm 99% sure that the seatbelt went back immediately. Of course I might be making that up because it has been a few months since I had her. :(
