Picking up New tires tomorrow

http://www.uniroyal.com/overview/tig...ring/3150.html

I was able to get them through my work at 60.63 each. Not bad I needed new ones :).

Well I probably should have asked before hand but any opinions on these tires? I do not face winter weather here.

I hope they do well for you. My opinion is that you put a tire of that design intent on a chevy lumina type vehicle, not on an svx. But who knows, they may do fine.

your right they are more of a passenger tire and not a performance tire

Another good tire you may want to consider are fusion tires. I got them from work for around your price per tire and have had them on since last winter and they still have great tread on them and grip very well.

Uni-Wobbles huh? Good luck with that.

Uniroyal makes tires for mini-vans, not performance touring cars. No matter how they advertise. When you're looking at the general range, run of the mill tires, you really get what you pay for. Don't expect the world out of those tires.

If all you do is drive around and enjoy your SVX as a daily driver, then go for it. But if you are looking for performance, you should look into something else.

Hmm I seemed to have messed that post up =D was the wrong tire. I'll see if I can find the right one folks my bad. Do forgive me. Seeing as also they screwed my ordered up and gave me the wrong tire and size -.-. Now I must wait for a different tire. Different brand too. See if I can find the link.

So are you still getting whatever brand they are for the same price though even though they screwed up your order? (as in, it wasn't borked to begin with was it, giving you screwy pricing?)

I know your excited to get some new wheels... I share that with you :D as next Monday I'm getting a new set of Yokohama Avid V4S for 465 from tire rack. I'll save roughly $100 having them shipped to me oppose to going to Discount Tire... not including the increased charges for putting them on, disposal fees and all the other 'got you' fees they tend to pile on. 510 installed at a local shop.

(ok, as exciting as it is to spend tons of money on tires as you can get I guess... I'm not exactly excited about it... but happy that it will mean I'm closer to where I want my SVX to be, which is what counts!)

I agreed to the brand and everything I'm just very tired from work and school. =D I just did not accept any old tire. Soon as I get done with school work tomorrow I'll find my reciept. might be kumho's not sure >.<

Well got them mounted and balanced etc. So far so good the vibration I had at higher speeds 65 mph + is gone. On the bad side I now have a crack in my windshield :(.

So after a few weeks of having them on, how are you liking them? :)
