The Dragon Alcyone Meet is June 22-24 This year....thought I had posted this already, but guess I didn't:o

The Dragon Meet is at Fontana Village Resort, just minutes from the world famous "Dragon" a section od Highway 129 with 318 Curves in 11 Miles!
Great roads, and even better scenery:cool: Would love to see some more SVX's attend!
And if the Mayans were right, it'll be the last one!!! so Don't miss out:eek:

Hey Huck, I want to throw it out there just incase you'll want to move this meet (or just have two meets :) )...

The Southeast NASIOC lost a member ("WJM" - Will) a few months ago. We have decided to do a Dragon meet in his honor the weekend of September 7th - 9th... Here is a link to the NASIOC thread.

It is going to be a pretty laid back meet with lots of cooking, hanging out, and fun. Not too much hooliganism or stupid stuff some would normally associate with a bunch of WRX owners. Anyway, I want to officially invite the SVX network to come along!

We are trying to get a T-shirt design together to remember the event. They will probably be sold with the proceeds going towards one of the main reasons for the meet, to set up a college fund for Will's 4 year old daughter... The goal is going to be to raise $2,000+. With that we are going to set up a college fund that will be able to grow over the next 14 years and hopefully help his daughter with college :)...

I'm not on here much anymore so if there are any questions, post them up in the NASIOC thread :)... It is stickied in the Southeast Regional Forum there :)...

We won't be moving our meet, but some might try to make both.
Sounds like a good cause, will see if I can make it in September too.

I hope to make it to the Dragon again this year at some point. It'd definitely be in the GTI though between the fun factor and almost 50% better gas mileage for the several hours to get there!

We have had several members show up in Non-Alcyones, which if fine too, so come on out!

And Nate, that'll be great, (might need a set of radiator fans from you:rolleyes:)

Since I'm now living in Tennessee I will certainly be attending (as long as my car isn't needing any TLC) This will be my first SVX meet so I'm pretty excited! :)
