SVX in Winding Road Magazine
Didn't see this posted yet...
In the latest issue of Winding Road magazine there is an article about the 13 best Japanese car designs of all time, and as you might expect the SVX was on the list. www.windingroad.com The article is titled "Lucky 13". Enjoy! |
Ah you beat me to it! Just read this last night and was pleasantly surprised.
Of course given some of the other cars they put in there, I would have been irked if the SVX didn't make it. |

Thanks Steevo. Just shows how much they researched the article. "Japan's most beautiful designs" indeed!!:o:rolleyes::eek: The 93-95 RX7 is genuinely a very pretty sportscar, but it was designed in California, not Japan.:eek: Dumbos. :) |
I own two of Japan's most beautiful designs, a 240Z and a SVX. :D

Maybe with more such recognition, someday an SVX will again be worth more as a car than in parts.

I also love the NSX. Was never available around here :(

Folks, to be listed among these (mostly) great cars is an honor for the SVX. Although the Lexus SC400/SC300 was never a "sporty" car, it is truly a great luxury coupe. Same can be said for the Infiniti G35, a truly great car. Mazda hit the mark with its last version of the RX-7, an enthusiasts sports car of the first order. Nissan (Datsun) started a revolution with its 240Z, bringing modern design and comfort to affordable sports cars for the masses. This magazine article, in my opinion is one of the finest compliments the SVX has gotten in many years.
