Nor-Cal Alfa Romeo meet
 

Hi all,

Here are some pics of our Nor-Cal Alfa Romeo meet. Nealy 40 cars showed up of all models along with some Fiats and a Lotus (she previously owned AR for a long time and got this one recently). I had a lot of fun driving in the Santa Cruz mountain roads, I never had that much fun driving in such kind of roads and very thrilling. The 164, as I expected handled really great in the corners and we all even burned down our brakes, ots of brake squealing tires rubbing sounds, smoke from the cars. I hope we have a svx meet like this and would love to see how our svx handles.

Just read an article in Hemmings Sports & Exotic Cars on the Alfa Montreal.
I have always really really liked that car. I once saw one in person in NYC.
My buddy used to have a GTV.

I wish that the powers that be would start importing Alfas to the USA again.

Alfa is having its come back in 2009 for sure as per the press release of FIAT recently. For now they are concentrating on Maserati sales and improvement in USA.

"This is just a Daily Driver, I won't pay a dime over it", "I will never give up on the SVX"... yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaah sure! I bet the SVX has a 2" dust thickness right now :mad: :mad:, and parked somewhere you don't remember about...
