last yr on June 16th I had to put Samantha down
she was 14, and today I had to put down her and my
last best friend, Tabitha. Tab was 13 and both where
Chowchows. Tab had some lung cancer that in the last
yr really took its toll on her. This morning was not good.
Ive had a dog in my house for the last 15 yrs, and
it being so quite tonite just isnt the same.
Anyway, wanted to post a pic of her as a sign of my love and respect for her too.

I'm sorry for your loss Dayle. They just aren't here long enough. The best we can do is give them all the love we can while they are here.

Sorry to hear about Tabitha. I hear chows are great dogs. Very loyal companions to their owners. Best wishes to you.

Sorry for your loss. She looks like a great dog.

thanks everyone

both of my dogs were so special, as Im sure most dog lovers can
relate too. These are the first 2 I got once I moved out on my own
and they both had alot of love and lead really great lives, Im grateful for
the time I got to have them, and have no regrets.

Dayle

I am so sorry for your loss. My stomach knots up when I hear that. I have lost dogs in the past, and it is hard every time. It is even harder when they are a member of your family, which most are. Thanks for posting the pictue of her.

I cried when my dog was put down. She had a brain tumor. ):

Dying

Hi Dayle, So sorry to hear about your dog. My wife and I quit having pets a few years ago as it was just to tough on us when it became obvious they were in pain and needed to be put to sleep. Maybe someday we will find another that is worth it. Take care, BOBB

Sorry about your dog, Dayle. My wife and I are facing a similar choice with one of our Dachsies. She is pretty much unable to hold her bladder for any period of time and also has a large cyst on her side that is as big as a grapefruit that is making her very uncomfortable. At 15 yrs, she has lived a long life and she is a shining example of unconditional love. In spite of our complaints about her, Jackie and I will miss her very much. I do not look forward to putting her down.

Take good care of yourself and know that it is for the best. :(

Johnny

Dogs have a special place :)

Sorry to hear of your loss, Dayle. I've lost a few dogs before, and losing my current one (5yr old chocolate lab Casey) would be extra hard. Take care.

Edit: tough month for losses, ouch. I just read the other thread about the motorcycle accident.
