4.11 Rear Differential Question . Please Help !
 

Which rear differentials with 4.11 gears will fit our cars ?Or which years and models can I take a ring and pinion from ?

any subaru made between 90 to present should be a direct fit except the loyal, but those didn't come with 4.11
any legacys diff will work

If you want to swap the LSD from the SVX into the 4.11 diff, you need to get one with bolt on side plates. Some Impreza rear diffs have screw on sideplates like the front diff.

As a general rule, a Legacy with a 5 speed or a 2.2 engine and auto trans will have a 4.11. A Legacy with a 2.5 and Auto will have a 4.44. There are some exceptions but I'm too tired to try to remember them now.
