In dash DVD player
 

has anyone on here taken out the radio and CD player and put in like a four, five inch, or bigger DVD/MP3 player? I just dont know which ones will fit. What my dimentions are that I can put one in? Any help would be great! Thanks!!!

Those pics with the install look great! I remember reading that the SVX was originally supposed to have a voice activated system of some sorts from the get go. Would be nice to have a system inside that could do voice activated GPS navi and such with all the futuristic goodies. Personally I think I'll just keep the stock combo cass/cd in there and get a Garmin 260 of some sorts....

I like the classic look but it has a hard time playing home made cd's. I am leaving the one in the Mustang alone. The SVX is taylor made for a great sounding system and has the space for a big screen. Was that a 7" in those pics?

It is very annoying to have to answer questions in both threads - could we have this one locked and deleted, and everyone else can migrate over to the other one? :D
