9 States and 2,400 miles in 3 days
 

I flew to Dallas TX last week on Thursday to help a friend bring a Suburban home. We got back home last night at 8:00 our time. We covered 9 states and 2,400 miles. It was a great trip, and lots of driving. It wasn't as easy as bringing home a SVX though. :rolleyes:

Depending on which way you went, I would say you passed within about 50 miles of here. :)

We just went to KC and back in Penny..... 1800+.....

2400 miles / 15 miles per gallon = 160 gallons X $2.55 per gallon = $408.00

Ouch! Once you factor in your time, plane tickets, et cetera, having your car shipped doesn't seem quite so expensive. On the other hand, it's more fund and less fun.

Well, 2400 miles / 19.7 miles / gallon = 122 gallons X $2.25 per gallon = $275

Not as bad as you think. The gas is much cheaper everywhere else. We paid as little as $2.12 for gas. :eek: :eek: The average was $2.25 and the most we paid was here in WA state. :mad: :mad: Dan was already in TX for a conference and drove it back to get home. ;) :)

Be glad your not down here in CA.I always use super and it has now reach $3.05 a gal. :eek: :eek: :eek: Glad you had a nice trip! :D
