Can't load pics
YO
I have been unable to load pics of Newcastle- is this because of the 'Bad news' announcement? I have tried from 2 computers and wait for 5 mins but they never load. I was just talking to my access teacher and found she is a mad subaru fan- her and husband are going to Canberra on the 7th-9th May as it is rally weekend and Subaru club meet for all subarus- i say lets get a posse of svxs and head down- u guys in QLD should come too! I spotted a white svx today and beeped and waved but he didn't see me. Good timing on Monday Jason- was tops driving over bridge in convoy- sorry i cut u off at the start ;) Moshol |

In the Newcastle folder in my locker you can find pics from last Sunday. Wish i took some of other cars - was driving though and my co-pilot was slinking to the floor and would not be seen taking pics hehe. Who is keen for next Sunday? I will phone Blake during the week :) Moshol |

Re: Uploading Pics'
G'Day Moshols, just had a look at your Newcastle locker (interesting) it would appear that you have uploaded raw images direct from your camera's memory.
In data terms, they are huge (1.3meg or so!), but when viewed at typical screen resolutions, become fairly pixelated. To upload to the post pages, you are limited to about 1.0meg. If you have a graphics handling package that you can import the photos to, have a look at the tool options for anything that says "scale" or "size", if you have the option to scale to a 'pixel' size, about 800 by '??' (this is usually automatic) at a resolution of 72ppi (pixels per inch). I say '??' because I often crop off the excess sky or forground in some photos, makes them a bugger to print, but gives a good 'Wide Screen' effect on the computer. :D Thinking about Canberra!, have fun, Arthur |
oops...finer points of photography not my strong point!
I don't get it i don't get it....
I have been using different cameras, none of which are mine and must say i have never looked into the finer details such as eerr size etc. I will make enquiries Arthur, thanks for the advice! Moshol |
