How does the ABS sensor come out?
I'm in the middle of replacing my rear wheel bearing and am trying to take off the hub and the ABS sensor. But i can't seem to loosen, unscrew, or how ever it may come out, out. I have read that PB is a good lubricant to aid me in this procedure but what is PB?

Someone (Beav?) had suggested using a chisel to wedge it up.
Tried it on the front and it worked like a charm! |
PB Blaster is a penetrating lubricant. You can get it at your local auto store.

If worse comes to worse you can always follow the other end to the connector and unplug the sensor. It might seem like a pain to do it this way but it's a lot cheaper than $100+ .

BE CAREFUL.
you need to be GENTLE with the ABS sensors or else you'll be greeted with a nice little warning light next time you start the car. just a warning -adam |

I suggest that you coat the ABS sensor with some anti-seize when you put it back into the brake backing plate. May make removal easier if you ever have to pull the rear knuckle off again. |
Well it's just not coming out. What would happen if I twisted it? Would I brake anything?

Never mind:p Thanks for all your help.
