I think they use component failure ratings and compare to 06 model.

Yep, thts true.... But I am very happy to see Baja in the list and always like it. If I need a pickup in future.. I would go for Baja, ofcourse only if Subaru continue its production (I heard somewhere online that they are going to stop its production due to its very low sales). -Pavan

Their reliability ratings are based solely on subscriber survey replies, not subjective reviews. If they make a projection for a new model year it's based on data from those surveys.

I'd quibble with whether or not a Baja qualifies as a truck. But I still want one.

I don't think I'd call it a truck either. Too small, unibody, based on a car...
