Sort of reminds me of Gibbs Spray

not sure though, but I think the post is a knock-off of Gibbs.

K so it works I have rear quarter panel rust, that need body work. But I want to slow the rust so it doesn't get any worst.
threw out the years I have found many product that prevent rust or stops it.
here are some options and give you opinion on them including to corrosion-x
here are the other aerosol spray options

seem like they have a science to it and they don't mess around buy coating a car unnecessary

LPS 3®Premier Rust Inhibitor
http://www.lpslabs.com/site_files/te.../TDS_00316.pdf

lps is more of a waxy type that I used in the inside of my door panels and inside if my quarter panels and under the car as well.
Con of this product it adds weight to the car. because it is a wax and it not a film. Notice the only plus side of adding weight is when I close my door it make a clear clunking noise and doesn't rattle like rice sound. but I hate adding weight to a weak trans.

these are paint-type on options I would say they add weight as well but it is for really bad rust work best under or behind a panel of a car and not a painted panel surface.

por-15

rust bullet

http://www.rustbullet.com/

They have a product called rust bullet black shell that I think would work great for coating the under carriage/ wheel wells of our cars.

DONT GET THESE ON YOUR SKIN......[/QUOTE]

TRUTH… or your clothes you want to keep. POR 15 NEVER came off an old sweatshirt of mine, and it took 1 weeek to come of my arms, My hands, took about 2 weeks…. That was when I did the entire underside of my 85 BRAT.

after 7 years on the BRAT, it is peeling off, but my BRAT was 100% rust free when applied to it. Was CA BRAT. Since, it has some small rusts. So POR 15 peels after 5-7 years…It peels off like when you get sunburned and PEEL

I have used many products that claim to stop rust, including the ones mentioned. Rust is a cancer, it always comes back unless you cut it out.

I fought rust by moving south after the little red wagon broke in half at the firewall. Seems to have worked!
