Manual Tanny question...
OK, another question.
I have in my posession a early 90's AWD 5-Speed Tranny (cable type) but I have NO IDEAL what it came out of, so I need to know if anyone can tell me how to determine what final drive ratio it has (3.90??4.11??) without opening it up... Is there any numbers on the case that will identify what gears are in it? Someone had posted a link to a list of Subaru Manual tranny's...but I searched and couldn't find it... Any help would be appreciated:confused: I need to get a matching rear diff for it...but don't know what to get.... |
I think this will help

Usually if the label is still intact it is on the top rim of the bell housing above the starter hole...
but, it is a label surrounded by heat and grease... |
Yeah, Pretty sure there is no lable there.....but I'll check tomorrow....
