Gold Coast Sighting
Well I know there are at least 6 SVX's in my area (Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia) because the local Subaru dealership services about that many.
So I don't often see another SVX, but today I spotted an immaculate bright red SVX. It was parked - so I peeked in through the window and it has only done 78,000 (Klm) which is about 50k miles. The number plate was "SVX 66". As I approached it, I initially thought it was a Ferrari or Maserati - it was that tpe of red. Shame on me ;). Cheers, Pete. p.s. it was parked next to a convertible Porsche but the SVX still really "stood out ". |
Hi
Please please tell me you left a note....or chased him for 14km through traffic till he pulled over on a main road thinking you were an undercover cop (James looks at ground, shuffles feet....) I think I have a picture of that car - from memory his name was TopTanks on the old *that which must not be named*:D Yahoo site (the big one). I tried emailing hima few times but never heard back. 6 of them....well, get them here!!! ;) *joking* I am waiting for the day that I will be in my SVX and see another one that I don't know.....every time it happens I am in the Camry Chase Car Bah! Maserati  and you even own an SVX...hang your head in shame, no excuses!! *grin* James |

Back in the summer of '01 ( :D ), I was at my sister's house in Daytona Beach. I was parked between her immaculate white '98 911S, and her hub's beautiful white '01 Corvette convert. So the pizza delivery guy came in and says, "Whoa, way cool Subaru!" I think I got more of a kick out of it than they did. :D |
