SVX Jacket
 

About a year ago I bought the SVX jacket off of the cafepress site:

My friend's mom owns an embroidery business and I asked her to personalize it for me. I had her add SUBARU and the alcyone emblem to the back:

I've never seen one of the Cafepress jackets, and from the picture it's hard to tell, but just knowing some of their product (or how it used to be when I had a "store" through them) I'm guessing the emblem on the front is not super top quality or "professional store bought" look?

But the back that she did the embroidery on looks awesome! I bet she could do the front of the jacket witht he regular SVX logo and whatever else in that same pro quality look as well.

I think you could have a potential business opportunity there, or at the very least get some more work for her shop. :)

Also, collector value aside, that jacket is 200% nicer than the original official ones Subaru sold/gave with the SVX back in the early 90's. :D

I wouldn't say the front logo is terrible quality...but it could be better. It's essentially a circle patch with a logo printed on it. I can get better pictures later if anyone would like to see.

But, yes, the embroidery on the back is very good quality and she would be flattered by your compliments. I have no doubt that she would be more than willing to embroider any design for anyone here on the network, and the price would be minimal (I'm assuming).
