Things to do at the next Reading

All,

One of the scientists I'm currently working with is actually from Reading and he suggested that we check out the "Shady Maple Smorgasbord" in East Earl, PA.

It's Lancaster County's largest smorgasbord featuring 200 feet of deliciously authentic Pennsylvania Dutch cooking and has a 40,000 square foot gift shop.

Oh, and the parking lot looks plenty big enough for a caravan on SVXi!!

I would in. I haven't eaten there but I hear it is great.

We did this place during one of the earlier meets (3-4?). Problem was/is that it's packed, & requres a longish wait to get in, & seating as a group is near impossible. but the food was worth it.

Hey, John!

Can we also do an autocross in one of their parking lots? ;-)

Here is a link Nick Saraceni sent me, showing some of the more than 40 cars in their "ATTIC" collection. This 2-part photo article was nicely done by Japanese Nostalgic Car a couple of years ago.

Cherry Hill NJ is a bit of a trek from the Reading meet location, probably in the 2 hour range or maybe a bit more. But it would be *so* cool to arrange a visit for a bunch of SVX aficionados...
