Seat heaters for sale
I have a set of OEM seat heaters pulled from a 94 1/2 canadian model. includes the tan switch and relay. Currently taking offers as I really don't know what they are worth.
Keith Damn wrong forum - could a mod please move to the for sale forum ***********SOLD**************** |
ummm, that's intresting. do you have any pics? how do they go in, do you have to get the seats reapulstered?
|
I could email pics or I will post them in my locker this weekend. You can just take the leather covers off the seats and the seat heaters are fitted for the seats and re-install the leather covers.
|
I have a hunch Mike621 would be intrested in this...Is the switch included?
(dibs) |
Yes the switch is included, it is a tan coloured switch.

Heated seats were a Canadian 94+ option.:D Me has 92.:( But I'm working on putting heated WRX seats in mine!:D |
Gotta wonder how well the seat heaters from <Duetto> work? I picked a set up for my Legacy, but never got to complete the install, due to a rather unexpected sale of the car. :D
|
They might do the job.
One thing I would caution with older seat heaters: Say there's something on the pass seat and you want to grab it, so you sort of crawl through the drivers door with one knee on the seat and grab whatever it was. The concentrated pressure of most of your weight on one knee could be enough to damage the heater element. I have no experience with this, nor have I heard of anything like it happening, but a friend mentioned it in passing and I thought it sounded like a valid concern. |
