Nearly an SVX Pickup

So, I left my home at the crack of dawn this morning with a borrowed trailer (Tom assisted in the destruction of my previous trailer) in my low budget tow vehicle (the 1989 Blazer I bought for next to nothing about a week ago) to New Hampshire from New Jersey. Well, lets just say, it was a good college try. I made it all the way to Mass, and had to turn around. I was so very dissappointed. The truck begin to burn oil visciously, and stall out.

Oh well, thats what I get for relying on GM again I suppose. It towed one SVX home, but I suppose this truck was a one time use. IM stuck at my stepmoms house in Conneticut (it barely coasted into town). Im getting a ride home and taking my plates and such with me.

Tom and I need to find a way to pick up Zavikan's parts car :( :(

Ride your mountian bike there and sawzall the roof so you can drive it back. Easy as pie.

And here I thought you were going to cut the back end off an SVX

Zavikan has a parts car now? What did I miss?

Oh yeah, welcome to Ct. Mike.:D

TomsSVX 02-14-2006 09:14 PM

He has a couple. Are you near him?? What we really need is to get the car out of where it is now. There isn't anyway you could lend a long distance hand is there?? Give me a call if u can

Well I'm a little closer than you guys but not that close, he practically lives in Canada! Whats good on this parts car? Is it drivable at all?

TomsSVX 02-14-2006 09:31 PM

Engine, tranny, full interior, Full LS interior(from differnt car), Small car grille(already silver:D ), trunk lid. There are other parts I need like a driveshaft for Mikecg's 6speed stage 3 and some rear diff hardware but thats about it. Dunno if it is driveable but I am gonna try and get up there thursday sometime if I can get my hands on a truck. Mommy and Daddy don't like it when I tow cars with their vehicles:rolleyes:

We DID that to a Caprice!! We had a desk to haul, and no truck, so we made one!! Used the same idea to haul a lot of brush, when the only thing we had was an 85 LTD II!!! It's only a 'BAD thing', When the chainsaw is applied to an SVX!!!

One guy here made himself a "Granchero". It's a Grand Marquis with a box and box lift!

Mike621 02-15-2006 01:11 PM

Well, if the roof is crunched down all the way already, i might as well cut it off to see how itd look.
