The Reading IX Mileage tally:

I'll do this in American-eese, since using KM's and liters seems to bring funny looks.

Distance: 1,340 miles
Time: ~21 hours in the car
Fuel: 48.35 gallons
Speed: 70-80 MPH on the highway

Mileage: 27.5 MPG.:D And that's with a bum O2 sensor!

All I can say is I love my car. I'm used to driving 4 hours in the Forester and nearly falling out of the car from pain and stiffness. When I got home (at 6:15 AM today) I stood up, started to stretch, and realized I didn't have to.

Anyone drive farther than me?

Yea I did @ 0 miles. But, still used some gas!
My car enjoys having 99,500 miles...

my trip was 112 miles from my front door to my parking spot. A much more scenic, and less philedelphia-like route took just over 120 miles home

didnt keep track of gas mileage, I never do:lol:

Here we go:

Distance: 27mi
Time: 30min
Fuel: 1gal

And a fun one:
Speed: x

x = 4 + 17 / 7 * 10 + 12.5 * 2

Wee, math is fun.

Thursday..From Frederick MD to Timonium MD: 53 miles

Friday...From Timonium MD to Reading: 100 miles

Saturday...From Reading to Frederick: 130 miles

I filled up in Frederick. Made it to Timonium and to Reading then filled up in Hanover PA on the way back to Frederick. About 28MPG.

It took me about 2 1/2 hrs. to get there and about 130 miles. And the best part was the trip up and back only used a little less than half a tank.

Hmmm... so half a tank will get you 260ish miles? (or did I misread this?)

Actually it was a little higher about 280-90. Plus I was doing about 80mph on all highway which helps mpg.

53.285714285714285714285714285714 ?

Or did you mean x = (4 + 17) / 7 * 10 + 12.5 * 2?

Or even x = ((4 + 17) / 7 * 10 + 12.5) * 2?
