Just how cold is it?

OK, so the sun was in my eyes, but I swear my outside temp said -21 this morning, but when I looked again it said -19.
How low will it go?
How low has your gone? If this has been done to death lately, forgive me.

Air that cold does funny things to the hairs in your nose.

-32 C, or about -26 F. It's been regularly hitting below -40 (both scales) with the wind though.

KEEP that damned stuff UP there!

I am sitting 4 feet from a woodburner full of locust logs, wearing a tee shirt, a sweatshirt and a hoodie!

I'm STILL cold! We ain't got any 'degrees' either!

I WANT some degrees! That is WHY I don't live in Canada!

Re: Just how cold is it?

The silver's thermometer read from 2 to 5 degrees during my morning drive; I've seen it over 100 (had figured it would only read to 99), but never below zero. Suits me.

I bought a bottle of windshield wiper solvent awhile back at a local supermarket, only to discover (too late) that it's labeled a "Southern" formula. What numbskull came up with the bright idea to sell in this region washer fluid that freezes? (And how many fools like me didn't notice the labeling and bought it anyway?)

Two degrees is right chilly for Georgia. Plumbers and heating contractors are going to have plenty of work for the next few days.

+1 lol

It's now a butt chilling -6° and expecting a -15° tonight... :( I really hate the winter. My leather seats freeze me and it's tough to touch the steering wheel for a bit..

-30°C or -22°F without the wind for the third day in a row.
Tuesday night it dropped from -1°C to -22°C in just 5 hours with a ragging NW wind.

Was -26C this morning. Sure is cold. With the wind, exposed skin can freeze within 5 mins. I didn't let the car warm up last night and driving home from work my fingers started burning. I believe that's the first sign of frostbite. Wasn't very pleasant. Much too cold here. Like others stated: You breath and snot freezes to your nosehairs lol.

My SVX read -19F sitting and -23F cruising last week and the week prior. This week it's sitting at about +41F and windy as hell.
